The hinges on this laptop snapped after two months of use. Dell's terrible outsourced tech support came to repair it under warranty, he said that weak hinges was a common problem with this model and to expect it to break again because it's a design flaw. He was right, it snapped again recently after simply opening the lid, cracking the frame around the screen and spraying plastic shards all over the place. This time my warranty is expired. I only ever used it for school and took good care of it, it's just a POS. The build quality is somehow worse than my 7 year old Asus Vivobook as well despite being twice as expensive, and no backlit keyboard is just lazy at this price point.Skip this laptop, please! There are far better options out there! I chose Dell once, and now they've permanently lost my business.
