This 2.5 GbE M.2 Network Interface Card (NIC) integrates the Intel I225-V chipset with vPro technology, supporting variable multispeed options (2.5/1Gbps and 100/10Mbps) for new and legacy network hardware. Leverage existing Cat5e or CAT6 cabling infrastructure while adding 2.5GBASE-T (802.3bz) compatibility. The PCIe network card takes advantage of Intel vPro technology for remote management and troubleshooting capabilities. Improve bandwidth for data-intensive applications, network sharing, FTPs, online or local storage /backup, and online content streaming or uploading while reducing network slowdowns. Install into an available M.2 2280 PCIe slot (B or M key compatible). The package includes standard and low-profile brackets for installation, as well as a 2ft (60cm) Cat6 adapter cable. This card is compatible with Windows, and Linux.
