It'd better to take your money and buy straight from the manufacturer. I bought this laptop for $778.46 and have used it as my home computer so it was rarely used. However one day I went to turn on the laptop only to notice its on turning on,so i called the hp manufacturer and was told that the warranty on it has past. I told the support team that I purchased the laptop from Amazon in October and the manufacturer warranty should be at least a year. They then said that on there end the laptop was purchased in June of 2022 therefore the warranty is up June of 2023. I then showed them prof that I did purchased from Amazon in October and so they made adjustment to the warranty. We did troubleshooting over the phone and the problem was not resolved there they send me a box for me to ship the laptop to there repair center for it to be repair. Upon them receiving the laptop I was send a email saying that I would have to pay $503 for the repair because the hardrive in the laptop was already repaired. I told them that I have not done any repairs on the laptop because it's a brand new laptop that is not to be giving problems now...he said that the hard drive in the laptop is not from the manufacturer its not what the manufacturer uses....so you guys tell me cause maybe I'm stupid. If you buy something from Amazon and send it to the manufacturer that makes it and they say the parts into is not from them WHAT WOULD YOU THINK MAKE IT MAKE SENSE FOR ME PLEASE. I'm going to make complaint to the new york state business complaint cause this is soooo wrong.
