Fantastic computer - No problems at startup right from the box. Windows 10 was already installed and had no problems updating it from the Microsoft Update site. Noted that Office 2007 is on the machine, but I will update to MS Office 2019. I will update this review as I use the computer more.First update as of 10/15/18 - No problems at all - Uploaded Microsoft Office 365 with no problems. Receives updates from Microsoft.com without any issues (if anyone has concerns about legitimate copy of Windows 10). I would strongly recommend this Kingdel to my friends, family and co-workers. Will continue to add periodic updates.Second update as of 11/16/18 - Still working great - no problems. I am going to purchase another one of these as a gift (I am that confident of its quality).Third update as of 2/23/2019 - Five months in and this computer works great! No hiccups, nobugs"....well worth the $$$$.Fourth update as of 12/14/19....14 months on, and it is running as well as day 1. I just leave it on, update the systems regularly, and don't even think about it otherwise. Can't fault it at any level.Final Update as of 09/19/2020....Coming up on 2 years of near-constant use. No problems....I have certainly gotten my money's worth. If this one should ever fail, I will absolutely buy another Kingdel.Final, final update as of 08/17/2022...Nearly 4 years and this machine is still going strong. I seldom shut the computer down - and it continues to deliver outstanding performance. Who knows how long it will last?Very nice robust construction fan-less mini computer for light industrial application and even an HTPC. My computers came with a Kingdel user account already setup, which I chose to not keep and setup my own. First open Settings - Update & Security - Activation, and be sure it says "Windows is activated with a digital license". You may need to connect it to the internet first for this to work. Then, go to Recovery - Reset this PC to wipe windows clean and start over fresh. Other than the extra step to set it up, been pretty happy. The little Celeron processor is a bit slow, but gets the job done.I use these for welder workstations in a metal shop - The welders bring up their prints, clock in and out, and stream music with them. A few run office apps like spreadsheets and specialized fabrication software as well. They work great, and the fanless design is a huge plus in an environment where small metal particles are everywhere. The Wi-Fi reception is excellent. The case can get a little warm, so just make sure there is sufficient ambient air around it.These have Windows 10 Pro... but it is already set up. Rather than the standard "Hi, I'm Cortana" set up procedure - these log in as user "Kingdel" and go to a desktop that already has some non-standard icons populated on it. That seems a little sketchy to me, so the first thing I do when I get one of these is reset the OS using the "Reset This PC" - then I get the standard setup which makes me feel a bit better.PC works fine but it was already setup? I thought that was very strange. Well, now I know why. it's already been setup with an account by the vendor in order to try and activate an illegal copy of Windows. Spoke to a Microsoft rep about it because I thought there must be a legitimate error with my activation. Apparently this is common issue with overseas vendors. Isn't that nice! Completely wiping the drive and will now have to purchase a legal license myself. I would never purchase from this vendor again.I'm placing 3 of them on a factory floor, a very good match, 4 serial ports for control interfaces and plenty USB 2 & 3 ports as well. The main thing is that they're fanless and sealed, they'll do better than desktop units.they're slow compared to new desktops, but fit the niche of single app platform very well.Received this unit in around 5 business days. It might have been 4.The case and build quality are quite solid. The case feels very substantial for such a small size.One minor quirk that bothered me: The motherboard is *upside down*. Meaning, the external ports -- such as USB -- are upside down from how they usually are. So if you plug in a USB thumbdrive, for example, the indicator lights on the drive are face-down.The unit definitely gets warm on the outside, as one would expect with passive cooling. But not hot -- just warm.I was able to install Ubuntu 16.04 *alongside* Windows10 without any issues. Everything appears to work in Ubuntu.Very simple benchmarking indicates that this device will be decent for desktop web surfing, SOHO server of some kind, SOHO firewall, and other things.This is NOT a gaming machine but will definitely work fine for most office use. It's an industrially made computer and it's very sturdy. very good ?I probably would give it 5 stars if I had this product for a while longer. I've only had it for a few days now, but love it. I use this as an office computer. I wanted a solid state computer due to its lower power usage, (hopefully) longer life, and smaller size. I liked this unit because it had a lot of USB ports (I plug my speakers, mouse, and keyboard into the usb ports, and wanted other ports available for thumb drives or the portable cd/dvd drive that I have).
