First impression is a little disappointing. There is no (led) indication that- ((Please see update below.))). the AC adaptor is plugged in and receiving power,). the computer is plugged in and charging the battery, and). the computer is turned on. As far as I have been is the ESCape screen which is white text on cyan background - not the easiest to read. The function button numbers are so small that I can not even see them. From the description text page, it appeared to me that the keyboard was white/black and I thought would be good contrast, but is highly reflective silver. Will write more after actual use. Well, it's going into the junk heap. When trying to use the first time, it asked if the keyboard picture was correct. It was not, but the only option was 'yes'. Then it asked to add another keyboard, but a click on other English keyboards did not change the picture to the correct keyboard, so how to know? Then it wanted to, by wifi, connect to an LG oven!! And it said was necessary for internet connection to continue. Could not bypass or skip connecting to wifi. I DO NOT HAVE WIFI!!!!! So it goes into the junk heap. $300+, what a waste.UPDATE: Found some LED's! There is one near the power port, partially obscured by the plug. There are two others near the card reader, but all are on the edges of the computer, not visible from the normal, seated, using position or view angle. Seems it would have been more useful to add a plastic lens to show the LED's up on the keyboard deck, but at least they are there. Pardon my mistake not to see them before. The battery charge level is performed in software and displayed on the screen, but since the computer never got that far, battery level was not visible. As was always the plan, Linux installed successfully, and the Linux detected the wired Ethernet connection that the Windows would not allow or even try to find. I had thought that the Windows partition was necessary to install the Linux, but that was not true. So the computer was rescued from the junk heap.
