Hi, after purchasing this laptop and setting it up I have noticed that the computer is not a new 2023 hp, in fact the hardware inside is new but the laptop is a 2015 - 2019 laptop according to the hardware associated with the laptop. But, it is still pretty fast, can hold up against games that need 100+Hz and the picture is phenomenal. I just got it today but I'll write another review in a week to keep future buyers up to speed
