Great value for the price. Make no mistake, this is a USED laptop, and other than a fresh/clean Win10 Pro install, it feels like it could have been running on someone's desk yesterday. Mine was not clean-- had some cat fur and dirt in the crevices around the device and keyboard. The keyboard had a lot of wear including a broken key. I ended up purchasing a replacement keyboard and replacing myself-- which uncovered more fur and dirt inside the unit. The battery lasts just over an hour with normal use, and I've ordered a replacement as well. Before purchasing, I did specifically ask if it had a smart card reader, to which someone replied in the affirmative. Perhaps there are minor differences between the units, but mine did not come with a built-in smart card reader. It has a closed slot on the side where it looks like one belongs, but it is not physically present/installed inside the unit. I have ordered that part too, and I will see about installing it myself. Once cleaned up and with a new keyboard, it feels like new. Overall I love the size/features of the laptop, for the price. I'm attaching pictures of my review so you can get an idea of what to expect.Refurbished laptop looks fine & feels solid. Not as fast as expected (could be from carrier, AT&T). Biggest disappointment is battery life. Seller's posting claimed 4 hours. I'm getting about 2.5 with light use. Also claimed it was a 2017, but actually it's a few years old. Waiting to hear back from the seller if it's possible to exchange the battery. Anyone else having disappointing battery performance?I like this compact laptop. Only problems are that it tends to turn on and off certain functions on it's own and keeps me busy trying to figure out how to reverse what it's done (e.g., turning on touch screen and voice activation; turning off mouse pad)Computer was delivered as advertised. Minimal wear. All pixels good. Battery lasts 4+ hours. Computer came with Windows 10 but still has a Windows 8 sticker.I like the Latitude because they are solid business computers. They are not the fastest or the fanciest but they are tough and last a long time. I also really like the dock. I have a dock station with dual monitors. Everybody in my family has a latitude and we can all pop it into the dock when needed. I just bought a second E7240 for myself.If you're looking for a low power, economical laptop for getting work done, watching YouTube videos now and again, and that's very portable, I feel like this is the one. I got mine refurbished and it's been outstanding. For the price point, i don't feel like I could have done better.Nice computer. Some wear, but I think of it as if my company giving me my old company laptop. Great condition really like the speedy solid state drive.the pc is great, but didnt recieve the hdmi cable.This laptop is awesome. I love the speed. I like that it is a laptop with a touch screen. It is very lightweight. Great battery life.
